THOUGHTS OF CHARITY

Dear eg Friends:

Last year, Charity Sunshine Tillemann Dick kicked off eg with a Gershwin song, and the story of her ordeal surviving a double lung transplant. We thought you would like to know that she and her family have had a rough holiday: on Christmas eve she was taken in a medivac flight to the Cleveland Clinic. Chronic organ rejection means she is awaiting a second lung transplant. She's in the ICU in the care of her outstanding medical team who will operate as soon as a donor organ is available.

A recent interview with Charity is here, and up to date blog postings from her sisters are here and here. We will post the video of Charity's presentation on the eg site shortly.

Your love, thoughts and prayers mean everything to Charity and her family. Kindly follow the sisters' blog for updates.

We will hope for good news,

Michael Hawley, EG director
